Doris BUTLER, born 1923.
Her parents were Albert BUTLER and Lillian BRITCH.
Doris BUTLER emigrated to the United States, and can be found in the 1930 Federal Census:
Renting, for $28 per month, at 60, S. West Street, Syracuse, NY.
Albert BUTLER, head, 35, first married at age 28. Born in England, parents both born England. Did not own a radio. Employed as a carpenter, houses. Not a veteran of US military. Emigrated to US in 1925. Had first papers (i.e., was in process of becoming a naturalised citizen). Lilian BUTLER, wife of head, 35, first married at age 28. Born in England, parents both born England. Employed as a spinner, typewrite. Emigrated to US in 1926. Had first papers. Doris BUTLER, daughter, 7, attending school. Emigrated to US in 1926.
Albert BUTLER emigrated to the US first, leaving behind his pregnant wife, Lilian. Lilian and Doris emigrated the year after Albert BUTLER.
Doris eventually married a man who was supposedly a Native American named Rocky. She divorced him and remarried.
I have not been able to track Doris BUTLER after the 1903 Federal census.
She is listed on the S.S. Carmania's ship's manifest for the April 24th, 1926 sailing from Liverpool to NYC. She is listed as a child, age 3, of Lilian BUTLER, age 29. Her destination was Cleveland, OH
